I like it. If you can’t read a site without being logged in, you can watch your tracker and see who’s looking.

I use it as well, as all my really really good posts are protected, too, and since all my posts are protected, all my posts are really really good!

I just started using xanga lock. I get a lot less traffic, but I feel more comfortable having a sense of who has been on my site. I would rather really interact with people on xanga – you know get to know people and have them get to know me – than just know that 150 people read my words, looked at my pictures and then left. I like it!

ryc: i think seedsowers idea was good too. i don’t worry too much about who visits my site though….guess i’m pretty much an open book. 🙂

It makes life worthwhile to have psychopathic people reading my blog.

Hey Cutie, how ya doin? Have you tied the knot yet? I’m not sure about the lock myself, but I’m not too experienced with all the different features.

nah, I don’t lock I delete. You can always post protected. My mom, sister and others read, so I can’t really lock, they are nonxangans.

I have family members and friends who don’t subscribe to Xanga, but who visit my site daily so I keep the lock off.

I absolutely love it cause I had people come and read and take personal photos and I would find them on other sites. I dont mind if people borrow but personal stuff. Then I had google bots and other stuff search for stuff and they went through my entire blog and never left a message or anything. I had six hundred to a thousand people coming everyweek and I knew nothing about them cause there was no way to backtrack and see who I was talking to.

I’ve had XangaLock since they started it and I really like it.
OMG, those “feet” shoes are creepy! That first pair, especially, the feet look so real that the laces seem to be sewn onto real feet! Ouch!
